I qualified from the university of Hertfordshire in 2005 and gained a Masters degree from the University of Brighton in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2018. I work for the NHS as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Orthopaedics and lecture at Canterbury Christchurch University.
I've recently expanded into private practice to use all the experience and expertise I have gained to work with my local community, in my clinic at White Cliffs Crossfit.
I have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders including neck and back pain, joint pains, sports injuries and soft tissue injures like muscle, tendon and ligament disorders as well as their treatments.
Every individual receives a bespoke treatment plan based on their goals. Treatment may include advice, education around the issue, rehabilitative exercise prescription, gait analysis, taping as well as joint and soft tissue mobilisation.
I believe in activity being key to physical and mental health. I represented England at Karate for many years and play rugby and squash at local clubs. I've also recently started cross fit and sea swimming at the lovely beach at Hythe.
So, if you've been struggling with pain, or you feel you have a physical problem which is holding you back so you can’t perform to the level you want to, then please contact me and book a session. I'll help you get back on track and look to develop resilience to future injury through active training and rehabilitation.
